Retirement in Puerto Vallarta--Want to Learn Something in Your Spare Time?
Now that you’ve finally retired and have some free time, perhaps you might be interested in learning some things that you previously never had time to learn. But first, you must decide where you want to gain this new knowledge and with whom you want to gain it. The last place in the world that might come to mind for taking classes in the subject of your choice would probably be some sleepy little Mexican fishing village!
Retirement in Puerto Vallarta--Where Exactly is Margaritaville?
Before deciding whether or not we want to retire to Margaritaville, we must ask, where in the world is Margaritaville? Where exactly was Jimmy Buffett when he got wasted away, searchin’ for his lost shaker of salt? He was probably in Mexico because he picked up a new tattoo; a real cutie, a Mexican beauty! It must have been a pretty nice place in Mexico because even though he didn’t know the reason, he stayed there all season!

The Iguana Revisited
Night falls in Puerto Vallarta. The contras sneak down from the hills to steal volleyball nets off the beach. The tide rolls in. Skinny dogs prowl the sand in search of dinner, then drift away dejectedly to wander the streets. In dusty shop windows stuffed armadillos confer in dry whispers, nervously pondering their fate as doorstops and bookends. In the town square, mariachi bands preen and tune their instruments, waiting to be booked for a fiesta that never happens.
Mexican Riviera heating up as cruise destination
You can watch for whales, fish for marlin and swim with sea lions on a Mexican Riviera cruise. Mexico has a fascinating marine life of super-sized mammals and fish, as well as death-defying cliff divers, a sizzling nightlife, fascinating archeological sites, great souvenir shopping and sugary beaches. It's no wonder the Cruise Holidays 2007 Travel Trends Survey showed Mexican Riviera cruises jumped from fifth to third place in popularity.
Wellness Week in Puerto Vallarta
The new Flamingos Resort and Spa plays host to the first ever Wellness Week here in Puerto Vallarta, scheduled to take place September twenty-second through the twenty-ninth. What a great way to spend a vacation, focusing on health and well being rather then excessive partying and feasting as many vacationers do.

Another Victory over Extinction
Puerto Vallarta, México--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--August 23, 2007--Last Aug. 2, the zoo’s personnel rejoiced when Marisol gave birth to two gorgeous kittens, a majestic male and a beautiful female, both of them black like their parents. They immediately won over the hearts of zoo employees. Three days later, Julieta, a lively monkey, delivered a healthy and curious capuchin monkey.
The State of Beaches
Puerto Vallarta was AMAZING! And I don't mean that in the "ten rolls of toilet paper for only $1!" type of amazing, I mean it in the traditional sense. It was the first vacation I've ever taken when I was absolutely not ready to go home at the end of it. That could be partially due to the lack of annoying siblings, but I think it had more to do with how refreshingly different it was from home. I guess I'll just take this issue by issue.

Top things to do in Puerto Vallarta
Based on another article, we could make our own forum version of the "Top things to do in Puerto Vallarta". I think it'd be best if people only post one (1) option at a time, that is, wait until someone else posts another option before adding one more. I'll start it off with:

1- Go to the Marietas Islands and swim through the cave from the sea to the inner beach on the island, felt like in a miniature version of "The Beach" the movie, just cozier and without sharks Smile.
